At its heart, the AUC-33 Fusion is an excellent ukulele with a laminate spruce top and laminate mahogany back and sides, but it features a design twist: it features amazing artwork on the soundboard. There have been no shortcuts taken with the design of these instruments–they sound and play as good as they look.
SPRUCE TOP
Spruce provides an ideal balance between strength and flexibility, hence its overwhelming popularity as the wood of choice for tops of acoustic guitars. Spruce’s versatile sonic character makes it ideal for a variety of musical genres and playing styles.
MAHOGANY BACK & SIDES
The beloved mahogany wood has been a standard for back and sides on premium acoustics for many decades. The warm and well rounded low-end creates a basis for all music to reach it's audience. The mid-range is very strong and fullbodied, while the high-end is delicate and very pleasant.
OPEN PORE FINISH
Not only does the open pore finish enhance the resonance of the woods but it also reduces the weight of the instrument for improved playability. This model’s natural and brown finishes feature gloss top for high-end vintage look and feel.
