Years ago, Steve Gadd and Vic Firth solved the age-old problem of wire brushes snagging on newly coated drum heads by slightly angling the wires at the playing end. Steve has refined the design again with a new angle that allows the wires to glide more smoothly over the head, for a smoother sweep and a velvety swish! Furthermore, the retractable tension rod now includes a third crimp, giving the player enhanced adjustment options.
