The AW-LT100G is specifically designed for guitar and features a chromatic mode. A circuit design optimized specifically for use as a guitar tuner allows for further improvements in the meter's tracking, stability, and response speed.

Instead of the coin cell battery used in many previous clip-type tuners, the AW-LT100G uses a single AAA battery, which is readily available and has a higher capacity.
