Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive pedal

The Warm Audio Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive is a fully analog overdrive preamp pedal for guitarists who want the dynamics and character of a tube amp in a compact, ready-to-use format. Developed in collaboration with Dirty Boy Pedals, the Jr. Overdrive brings the legendary Preamp circuit to a wide audience.

The pedal is powered by proprietary T.A.E. technology (Tube Amp Emulation) and combines a Variac control for voltage reduction — which simulates sag, compression, and voltage-starved fuzz textures — with a speaker emulation output modeled after a closed 4×12 Greenback cabinet. This makes the Jr. Overdrive usable as a standalone amp simulator, directly into a mixer, interface, FOH, or FRFR speaker.

With Gain, Tone, Volume, and Variac, the pedal offers a wide dynamic range: from transparent boost to fully saturated vintage breakup. The touch-sensitive response and harmonic saturation make it equally suitable for the studio as for the stage.
