Grand Auditorium guitars are a beautiful hybrid between the well-known Dreadnought and the more compact Auditorium/Orchestra Model. With a narrower waist, it sits comfortably on the knee without compromising the sound too much thanks to the wider bottom end. This results in a guitar that has both the body and projection of a Dreadnought, while the articulation is closer to that of an Auditorium/Orchestra Model. This series is ideal for beginners; the wood and build quality are excellent, allowing us to set these guitars up properly. This ensures that these guitars offer excellent playability and a very respectable sound.
Spruce top
Spruce is one of the most traditional woods used to make guitar tops. This is due to its stiffness and ideal strength-to-weight ratio. These characteristics give spruce a very dynamic sensitivity and a rich tone with many harmonic overtones. This makes it excellent for both powerful strumming and delicate fingerpicking.
Mahogany sides and back
Mahogany has long been a highly sought-after wood for the back and sides of acoustic guitars. Its warm, rounded bass tone provides a foundation for any musical style to reach the listener. The midrange is very strong and full-bodied, while the treble is delicate and very pleasant.
