With a narrower waist, it sits comfortably on the knee without compromising the sound too much thanks to the wider bottom end. This results in a guitar that has both the body and projection of a Dreadnought, while the articulation is closer to that of an Auditorium/Orchestra Model. Spruce top

Spruce is one of the most traditional woods used to make guitar tops. This is due to its stiffness and ideal strength-to-weight ratio.
