Koa

The V CLAMP is the fastest, most compact, and most practical drum microphone mounting system on the market and is compatible with all common snare drums and toms. It is designed to be the perfect complement to sE's V BEAT for recording snare drums and toms but is also compatible with many other popular microphones. Its sturdy, elastic clamp allows for mounting and dismounting in seconds, and its robust, indestructible design is built for on-the-road use. The height and rotation of the connected microphone can be easily adjusted by loosening the V CLAMP's knob and adjusting the rod's position. This allows you to create the perfect positioning for any desired drum sound or to minimize bleed from nearby drums.

The SE Electronics Dual Pro Pop unites two types of pop filters in one: nylon and steel! Each pop filter does what its name says: filter the sound, especially the low 'rumble' and pop frequencies. The steel filter is very resolute and effective, while the nylon version is slightly milder and has a slight roll-off in the higher frequencies. Thanks to a hinge between the two filter types, the Dual Pro Pop allows you to determine what delivers the desired result. This can vary greatly per instrument/vocalist and per microphone! Best of both worlds!

The SE Electronics Reflexion Filter™-X (RF-X) is a highly affordable, lightweight aid for recording vocals and instruments such as guitar in a home studio. The RF-X features a newly designed lightweight mounting bracket and is constructed from a composite screen with a wool layer, an air-gap layer, and an acoustic foam layer on the inside. The multi-layer design with air-gaps largely prevents sound coloration during use, which sets the RF-X apart from the competition. Now, a true SE Reflexion Filter™ is available for everyone, anytime, anywhere!

The V BEAT is the most compact drum microphone in its class, intended for use with snare drums or toms. Unlike the V7, which is optimized for vocals, the V BEAT offers the same high-quality sound as the V7 X instrument microphone, but in a purpose-built, low-profile and drum-friendly form factor. It is tuned for instrumental use, but can also be used for electric guitar amplifiers or brass instruments, for example. Its special capsule delivers a highly detailed and extremely natural sound on snare drums or toms of any size, with excellent off-axis rejection to minimize bleed from nearby drums and cymbals. Its ultra-compact design and parallel XLR connector with stand mount provide the smallest footprint in its class, and its rock-solid swivel mount allows for very precise angle adjustment – so it can be aimed at virtually any part of the drum head to achieve the desired sound characteristic.

Compact, Flexible & Minimalist Design
The V BEAT features an extremely low-profile mechanical design, with the XLR connector and stand mount integrated in parallel at the base of the flexible swivel stand. This minimizes the V BEAT’s footprint, keeps cables out of sight, and eliminates the need for right-angle adapters or special cables. It also means cables cannot interfere with drum performance, as they are kept clear of cymbals and drum sticks.

The heart of the V BEAT: The DMC7 X capsule
The custom-designed DMC7 X capsule offers the same technologies and features as its sibling in the acclaimed V7, including its innovative, specialized aluminum voice coil. Where the V7 is optimized for vocals, the capsule in the V BEAT has been custom-tuned for instrumental use. Being much lighter than the industry standard (copper), aluminum delivers an open and transient-rich sound, with deep and clear lows for excellent performance. The midrange is also extremely balanced, supporting the natural resonances of percussion instruments.

The excellent off-axis rejection of this sophisticated capsule also helps to isolate your drums from other sound sources on the stage – effectively reducing stage bleed from other drums, cymbals and more. The supercardioid pattern also allows you to easily adjust the low frequencies by varying the proximity effect – i.e. the distance to the drum head.

Proven neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances, and high-quality workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, high-end sound quality, and superb consistency.

Unique, Patented Integrated Capsule Suspension
The V BEAT’s advanced internal capsule suspension efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, isolating it from shocks and impacts and eliminating the need for an external shock mount.

All-Metal Housing & Spring Steel Grille
The V BEAT’s robust chassis is all-metal, with no fragile plastic parts. The high-quality, highly durable zinc alloy die-cast housing is designed to withstand years of stress on stage. The spring steel mesh grille is dent-proof and corrosion-free for optimal reliability, and the rotary knob for the swivel mount ensures the V BEAT stays securely in place in any position.

Internal Windscreen
The red internal windscreen efficiently reduces unwanted plosives, pops and wind noise. Should you prefer a more subtle black windscreen, this is also included as standard.

Gold-Plated XLR Connector
The V BEAT’s gold-plated XLR connector ensures a loss-free and reliable signal connection for years to come.

Knurled Nut for other mounting accessories
Some popular drum microphone mounting systems (such as the LP® Mic Claw) feature a knurled nut to secure the microphone. However, due to its extremely compact design, these third-party nuts can partially block the XLR connector on the V BEAT. Therefore, we have included a knurled nut with a smaller outer diameter to solve this issue.

Optional Accessory: The V CLAMP
Paired with sE’s V CLAMP, the V BEAT becomes even more compact and flexible. The V CLAMP adds an additional vertical axis of motion for even better positioning, and ensures the V BEAT remains securely attached to the rim of your drum, without taking up much additional space.

In 2010, sE Electronics introduced the X1, an affordable and handcrafted condenser microphone with numerous features. The microphone had the highest dynamic range and SPL in its class and more capabilities than its competitors. Its successor, the sE Electronics X1 S, is a refined version of this modern classic, improved in almost every way and just as affordable as the original. The RF-X Reflexion Filter from sE Electronics has become an industry standard today, transforming any room into a vocal booth for a home studio. The easy-to-install filter features a multi-layer design, distinguishing itself from the competition by filtering frequencies evenly across the entire spectrum. This allows for completely natural recordings in virtually any environment. The Studio Bundle also includes a 3-meter XLR cable and the sE Isolation Pack, a sturdy shock mount with an integrated adjustable pop filter. Like its predecessor, the X1 S features a handcrafted condenser capsule, meticulously constructed and tuned by sE's technicians. Compared to its predecessor, its self-noise is very low, making it one of the quietest microphones in its class. The microphone also has improved sensitivity and a higher SPL. The -10 dB and -20 dB pad switches provide a larger dynamic range, making the microphone suitable for a wide range of applications and close-mic techniques, even for the loudest instruments such as electric guitars, fortissimo brass instruments, and kick drums. The low-cut filter can be switched to 80Hz or 160Hz; both filters eliminate low-frequency rumble and compensate for the peak (proximity effect) in close-mic techniques. Unlike the cheaply built housings of other "entry-level" microphones, the X1 S has an all-metal housing. This ensures the suppression of electrical interference and noise.

The X1 A: It could be your first microphone, but you'll never want to replace it. There's a new entry-level model in sE's renowned X1 series, which (once again) breaks the performance barrier for any microphone in its class.

The X1 A is the new entry-level model in sE's acclaimed X1 series. Designed to be the best-in-class microphone for home recording, it brings the X1 series' legacy to a wider audience worldwide.

The whole team has worked hard on this completely new acoustic design, which delivers an impressively clear sound you would normally only expect from a much more expensive product. The new X1 A not only delivers the best sound quality in its price range but also convinces with its convenient features, high dynamic range, and impressive finish.

Completely new acoustic design

The X1 A delivers the best sound quality in its class thanks to its newly developed acoustic design with a carefully selected condenser capsule. The impeccable sound quality without coloration guarantees a wide range of applications. Thanks to the carefully selected capsule, the microphone offers an even, well-balanced frequency response.

All-metal housing and high-quality finish

Unlike the cheaply constructed housings of some other "entry-level" microphones, the X1 A's all-metal housing provides efficient suppression of electrical interference and noise. The high-quality finish ensures that the microphone will look good for years to come.

Integrated windscreen

Eliminates the need for an external pop filter and provides additional protection for the critical capsule.

Gold-plated XLR connector

Guarantees a loss-free, reliable signal connection, for years.

Standard accessories

The X1 A comes with a robust, newly designed swivel microphone clip and thread adapter for mounting on any microphone stand. For additional noise reduction, the X1 A pairs perfectly with sE's Isolation Pack and the Reflexion Filter X – highly recommended for a professional vocal recording setup in your home studio.

From vocals to acoustic instruments, electric guitars, and percussion: the X1 A is the perfect choice for any musician looking for a high-quality microphone at an entry-level price.

The SE Electronics X1R is a passive ribbon microphone with a handmade capsule and neodymium magnets. The V7 X, the sibling to the acclaimed vocal-focused V7, is a dynamic instrumental microphone ideal for a wide variety of instrumental applications in the studio or on stage. The innovative aluminum voice coil and the special capsule's brand new acoustic design are specifically tailored for crystal-clear, full-frequency-response instrumental amplification and recording. The microphone offers a perfectly natural balance of detailed highs and incredibly deep, clear lows, making it suitable for virtually any sound source, from electric guitar amps to brass instruments, from snare drums to choirs, and much more.

In a world full of dynamic microphones – and largely dominated by a small number of "industry standards" – the V7 has quickly received high praise from both artists and reviewers for its stunningly realistic sound quality, massive gain before feedback, and superior off-axis rejection. The V7 X brings these desirable characteristics to your instruments, providing a perfectly natural sound image in any live or studio environment, creating an even closer connection between instrument and listener.

The Heart of the V7 X: The New DMC7 X Capsule
The all-new, custom-designed DMC7 X capsule offers the same technologies and features as its sibling in the V7, including the innovative, specialized aluminum voice coil. Where the V7 is optimized for vocals, the capsule in the V7 X is specially tuned for instrumental use. Its higher frequency response is smooth and balanced, capturing every nuance of the player, while its reduced resonance and deep, extended low-frequency response enable a complete spectrum of instruments: 4x12 guitar cabinets, toms, snare drums, brass, barrel organs, or any other instrument sound loud, natural, and clear.

The supercardioid pattern of this sophisticated capsule also helps to isolate your instruments from other sound sources on stage - effectively reducing bleed and providing plenty of gain before feedback. The superior off-axis rejection also makes the V7 X ideal for recording snare drums, toms, or hi-hats with minimal signal bleed.

Proven neodymium magnets, tight production tolerances, and high-quality workmanship ensure excellent sensitivity, high-quality sound, and superior consistency.

All-metal Housing and Beveled Spring Steel Grille
The robust design of the V7 X is all metal - no plastic parts in sight. The high-quality, highly durable zinc alloy of the chassis is designed to withstand the rigors of the stage for years to come, and the spring steel grille is dent-proof and corrosion-resistant for perfect reliability. The beveled edge around the grille also prevents the V7 X from rolling away when placed on an amplifier or the stage floor.

Internal Windscreen
The red internal windscreen effectively reduces unwanted wind noise - and should you prefer a more subtle black windscreen, it is also included as standard.

Gold-plated XLR Connector
The V7 X's gold-plated XLR connector guarantees a loss-free and reliable signal connection for years to come.
