Aquila New Nylgut Concert Ukulele Strings

Please note:

Like the gut, the New Nylgut® is prone to sharp edges. Before stringing the instrument, check that the nut and bridge are free of sharp edges and that the nut grooves are not too deep and perfectly smooth. You can remove sharp edges with very fine sandpaper (e.g., 600) or the finest steel wool (000).

Important:

The best sound quality occurs when the strings are fully settled, which can usually take a while. To achieve stable intonation in a few minutes, repeatedly pinch each string at half its length with your fingers, pull it firmly sideways, and retune it. Stop when the string is no longer out of tune.
