The tin whistle is a simple, traditional musical instrument; ideal for popular and folk music, but also suitable for a much wider musical repertoire. It is suitable for both solo playing and ensemble playing, and can be played by children, teenagers, and adults.

The Sweetone was the first conical-bore tin whistle to be made with a plastic mouthpiece, handcrafted in the UK using high-quality materials. The mouthpiece is cast with an ABS-PC mix. This, combined with modern technology and traditional Clarke craftsmanship, produces a clear and precise tone.
