Flight TUC50 Travel Salamander concert ukulele

People often think that plastic isn't a good material for making instruments. They associate it with cheap and low-quality materials. The Flight Travel series ukuleles are made primarily of ABS plastic combined with a laminated top. Flight Concert Travel Ukuleles (TUC) have a slightly larger body and a slightly longer fingerboard than the Soprano Travel Ukulele, resulting in a bigger sound—all the great qualities of the TUS, but bigger. Players with larger hands will appreciate the extra fingerboard clearance.

The Flight TUC-50 uses laminated walnut for the soundboard. Walnut is stiffer and denser than mahogany, so the tone is brighter, as clear as koa. The beautiful grain, combined with the hand-drawn Salamander design, is popular worldwide.
