The Custom Series wires are medium gauge with evenly spaced standard coils. The Custom line offers four different wire configurations that can be used to alter the balance between the drum and snare components of the sound. Models with more strands allow the snare to have a more active influence on the sound, while those with fewer strands give the drum a more prominent place in the overall sound.
