Hear, Read & Play - the most complete method for wind instruments - has been published for thirteen different instruments in three parts that are suitable for both group and individual education. This successful method has been compiled according to contemporary standards and requirements of music education and the associated exams. Each book is packed with hearing exercises, games, puzzles, tips and information. The accompaniment CDs provide extra fun. In all three parts, Dr. Checkup is the roguish guide who always accompanies the students with useful information and tips. In part 3 he is reinforced by one Theodor Tonleiter.
In Part 3, playing numerous pieces comes first, but also new scales and intervals are discussed, as well as Theodor Tonleiter's explanation of major and minor keys. The students learn to improvise on a chord progression. Furthermore, part 3 contains rhythmic development to the most common and used combinations of note values. Interesting facts about the construction of the instrument are discussed on a special page.
